Kathy A. Zahler

About Me 

Born in Seattle but raised in Ithaca, New York, I've come full circle, moving back to the Finger Lakes region in 1991, marrying my best friend's brother, and continuing to write without having to live across from Tompkins Square Park. My bread-and-butter is El-Hi educational materials, although my test prep work takes me right through graduate school, and on a typical day I may work both on kindergarten science and high school literature, or on 8th grade composition and MCAT Verbal Reasoning. We live in a house we built from the ground up on 150 acres of fields and woods, where we raise chickens, ducks, peacocks, guinea fowl, chocolate and yellow labs, turtles, fish, and our daughter, Olivia. This is our view!
